Daiwa Spin fishing reel 23 Saltiga 6000-XH The new Airdrive design, in combination with the MQ aluminium reel body, ensures maximum resilience and sensitivity – ideal when fishing with relatively light tackle for very strong fighting fish such as halibut, tuna, amberjack or GT. The Airdrive rotor reduces the weight in the upper part of the reel and optimises the balance of the reel on the rod. better casting feel and optimised sensitivity when guiding the lure is the result. By reducing the rotor weight, the rotor also starts with less start-up resistance and optimises reaction and sensitivity. The hollow, one-piece Airdrive bail ensures optimum line management and reduces the risk of tangles during the cast. The CNC machined G1 duraluminium drive wheel has been specially coated to give an even smoother and smoother ride than usual. The Air Drive Shaft creates a low-contact structure on the Pinion gear to minimise the frictional resistance of the axle and to permanently maintain the silky smooth, almost noiseless running that characterises this reel. The monocoque construction of the reel body allows the installation of a larger gear with better power transmission and longer life under high loads. The torsion-free reel body ensures optimal bearing of the gear unit and permanently smooth running. On both sides of the crank axle, Magsealed ball bearings prevent the ingress of salt water and dirt particles and, in conjunction with the Magsealed axle, provide enormous protection against corrosion.
