The Great Lake Gum Beetle (Size 12) is a deadly dry fly for Tasmanias highland lakes, perfectly imitating the gum beetles that trout eagerly sip off the surface.

Tied with a buoyant foam body and realistic legs, it sits high on the water, making it easy to see in choppy conditions. Ideal for polaroidingor fishing blindduring beetle falls, this fly is a must-have for lake fishing when trout are keyed in on terrestrials.
