Redefining Performance

Horizon Nitro Fly Rodrange brings top-end performance at a fraction of the price of high-end rods. These rods combine refinement, build quality and power in a package that will surprise even experienced anglers. The Horizon Nitro Fly Rodseries will redefine your expectations of what a high-performance fly rod should deliver.

Freshwater Power

The 5- and 6-weight models are fast-actioned freshwater rods designed for distance and accuracy. They perform exceptionally on South African stillwaters, where long casts and windy conditions are common. Both rods deliver flies with authority, ensuring consistent presentations in challenging environments. They are the go-to choice for anglers who want reliable stillwater performance and who want to punch long casts into the wind.

Saltwater and Big Fish Capability

The 8-weight model is a casting dream, capable of carrying large flies with ease. The Frontier Fly Fishing team designed this rod specifically for largemouth yellowfish, but it also excels in saltwater scenarios. It is equally effective for species such as bonefish and triggerfish on the saltwater flats. Its fast action ensures enough power to deliver precise, long casts into the wind.

Spare Sections for Peace of Mind

All Horizon Nitro Fly Rodsinclude a spare tip and spare second section. As a result anglers can venture out knowing they have backup sections should accidents occur. This attention to detail highlights Horizons commitment to both performance and backup service.
